July 8th is the classroom portion of this course. You may sign up for the diving portion of the course on either July 31st or August 1st. Wreck diving can be one of the most exciting aspects of sport diving, however every effort must be made to maximize safe diving techniques. The SDI Wreck Diver Course will discuss the equipment and techniques commonly employed while wreck diving. This course will be taught as a limited-penetration course, requiring 3 dives. Limited-penetration is defined as a swim through or within the ambient light of entry point.

Learn to dive. Upon successful completion of this course you will be certified as an Open Water Diver with additional Nitrox and Drysuit certifications. E-learning convenience coupled with personalized classroom teaching provides the ultimate scuba diving learning experience confined water dives to develop scuba skills open water dives to use your skills and explore. Books and rental included, 10% discount on equipment for duration of the class. The date selected is the pool start date. You will be contacted to schedule a meeting at the shop for gear selection and fitting prior to your first pool session. You will be issued elearning at the time and schedule your water time.

Introducing a diver to the benefits of controlling his buoyancy usually has a great positive effect, an effect that will enhance the diver's sense of enjoyment and feeling of accomplishment. This specialty is designed to increase the open water diver's understanding of the factors that influence buoyancy, and to train the diver how to use the means available to them as methods for controlling their buoyancy. The added benefits to the marine and freshwater environments, cannot be overstated; as well as a diver that has better control of themself in conjunction with his environment. Max: 2 Students per class

SDI's Deep Diver Course is a must for any diver wishing to explore a little more, go a little deeper, and learn the risks and benefits associated with deep diving. Many interesting sights lay just beyond open water diver training limits such as: beautiful wall dives, shipwrecks, and critters that don't come into the shallows. The purpose of this course is to provide the necessary training to plan and execute dives that are beyond the depth range experienced during an SDI Open Water Scuba Diver course, specifically beyond 60 feet and to a maximum depth of not greater than 130 feet. By the end of the course your knowledge, awareness, and comfort level with deep diving activities will have increased. Max: 2 Students per class Does not include Charter fees is applicable.

This course is cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR), first aid, and automated external defibrillator (AED) use combined into one program. It is designed to teach the techniques to administer CPR, first aid, and utilize an AED in emergency situations involving infants, children, and adults. This comprehensive program is appropriate for workplace training or general knowledge to be better prepared day to day. It meets all international standards, is OSHA* and ILCOR compliant, and has been accepted by the United States Coast Guard (USCG). The CPR and AED components cover the knowledge needed to address one of the largest causes of death in the world. Intervening with this knowledge can possibly save a life. The first aid program reviews common techniques to treat serious emergencies, as well as less serious, more common issues.

It allows them to make their way back to a special spot discovered on an earlier dive. They use the tricks and techniques of navigation to find an ideal exit point at the end of a dive without the need for an uncomfortable surface swim.Your SDI Underwater Navigation Specialty course will help you overcome the obstacles inherent to finding your way underwater. You will learn how easy and simple navigation can be and how it will help you both above and below the surface. During this course, you will review natural aids such as sand ripples or reef formations, which can accurately predict your route. Tools such as mechanical or digital compasses are a surprising challenge to the novice but we will help you unravel the challenge and teach the practical skills and techniques you'll need to use them effectively. This course is designed to give students a greater understanding and experience on how to properly navigate underwater using both natural and compass navigation.

TDI TRIMIX DIVER Are you looking to expand your depth range? Do you want to reduce narcosis during deep dives? The TDI Trimix Diver Course could be your next step! As your motivation to explore progresses, you will find that you may want to go deeper to dive that wreck that is part of history or that cave system that you have read so much about. One of the major limiting factors of going deeper is narcosis; TDI?s Trimix Diver course shows how to minimize the effects of narcosis by adding helium to offset the nitrogen in your breathing gas. While taking the Trimix Diver course your TDI Instructor will teach you how to plan and execute dives utilizing as little as 18 percent oxygen and diving to maximum depth of 60 metres/200 feet with a blend of helium appropriate for the planned depth.
